IndiGo starts daily Kolkata-Shanghai flights to boost India-China connectivity

IndiGo has strengthened air connections between India and China by launching a daily non-stop flight connecting Kolkata and Shanghai from March 29, 2026. This new service, using A320neo aircraft, aims to meet the growing demand for business and leisure travel and facilitate trade and economic interaction. The route expands IndiGo’s presence in China, which currently operates 21 weekly flights to the mainland.
