Massive Fire Breaks Out at Bullion Office in Vengalrao Nagar; No Casualties
Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in the air conditioning unit on the second floor of G+4 building in Vengalrao Nagar on Tuesday night. Fire trucks from Sanathnagar, Annapurna Studios and Jubilee Hills fire stations were rushed to the spot. No one was injured.
Heavy smoke coming from the suspended ceiling, mats and other materials made the firefighters’ job difficult. Azmeera Sreedas, DFO-2, Hyderabad, said the fire was brought under control at 10.10 pm. Madhuranagar police rushed to the spot along with Clues teams to initiate investigation.
Madhuranagar station house officer H. Prabhakar said that the fire broke out at Vindhya Bullion office on the second floor at 7.50 pm. Initial investigation revealed that the fire may have started due to a short circuit in the air conditioning unit in the office.
