Basavatarakam cancer hospital construction in Thullur to begin in a week

Nandamuri Balakrishna, chairman of Nandamuri Basavataraka Rama Rao Memorial Cancer Foundation, said that the construction of Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (BIACH&RI) at Thullur in Guntur district will begin within a week.

Addressing a meeting following the launch of the new equipment at BIACH&RI in Hyderabad on Wednesday (April 1), Mr. Balakrishna said: Bhumipuja Because the construction of the hospital in Thullur had already been completed and the work would start within a week.

He said BIACH&RI has become one of the best hospitals in the country offering services in single specialty (oncology) with the valuable support of donors.

He stated that Nandamuri Basavataraka Rama Rao Memorial Cancer Foundation has established a cancer hospital in Thullur to provide quality oncology treatment to the needy in Andhra Pradesh and thanked everyone who contributed.

The hospital and research institute is being built on 21 acres of land and will have 500 beds in the first phase to provide integrated care to patients, including prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
