KVS Balvatika admission results 2026: Date and Time
The first provisional list of students selected and waitlisted for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-2 (if applicable) and Balvatika-3 will be published on April 8, 2026. The Class I list is scheduled to be announced on April 9, 2026. However, in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry, both Balvatika and Class I lists will be announced on April 10, 2026, due to the general election poll. Registrations for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-3 and Class 1 were open from 20 March to 2 April 2026.

Provisional lists will include waiting lists along with the names of selected candidates. The admission process will be carried out in stages, starting with Right to Education (RTE) candidates, followed by Service Priority Category I and II and finally the remaining vacancies.
The first provisional list for Class 1 to 3 admissions under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has been released in the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. Where to check:

KVS Online Admission 2026-27
If seats remain vacant after the first round, the second and third provisional lists will be announced in late April. The second list is planned to be made on April 16, 2026, and the third list is planned to be made on April 21, 2026. These lists will facilitate more admissions based on availability after previous rounds.
If sufficient applications are not received through the online process, a new notification will be issued for offline registrations under RTE, SC, ST and OBC (NCL) categories on April 21, 2026. The registration process will take place between April 22 and April 26, 2026, while the display of lists and admissions will take place between April 27 and April 30, 2026.
List for other classes
For Balvatika-2 and Class II and onwards (except Class XI), offline admissions will be held between 2 April to 8 April 2026, depending on vacancies. The list of candidates selected for these courses will be announced on April 13, 2026, and the admission process will be carried out between April 15 and April 20, 2026.
XI. What about class admissions?
XI. Registration for classes will begin after the Class X Board results are announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Registration for existing Kendriya Vidyalaya students will start within 10 days after the results are declared and the admission list will be displayed within 20 days. For students who are not KV students, the process will start after the KV students are accommodated, depending on the quota. The last date for Class XI admissions will be 30 days from the declaration of Class X results.
The last date for admission to all classes except Class XI is June 30, 2026. However, if quotas remain vacant, admissions may continue until July 31, 2026, subject to the approval of the Deputy Commissioner and quota availability.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan stated that all admission lists should be published on school websites, social media platforms and notice boards.
