Spain’s pork industry seeks salvation from swine fever threat

Brazil, Japan, Mexico, South Africa and the United States have halted imports of Spanish pork. Other countries, such as EU members, China and the United Kingdom, have taken a more local approach, banning only pork from the affected region of northeastern Spain.
