“Gavin Newscum and the Democrats have done an absolutely terrible job. People are running away, crime is rising, and Taxes are the highest of any State in the Nation, perhaps the World. Steve can turn it around before it’s too late, and as President, I will help him do it! With federal aid and a Great Governor like Steve Hilton, California can be better than ever! Steve Hilton has my COMPLETE AND COMPLETE APPROVAL. He will be a GREAT Governor, and more importantly, WE WILL NEVER TAKE YOU!!!” The President said the following in his message.

This scenario is now less likely, as Hilton’s support is likely to rise and Bianco’s fall with the president’s support.
“Trump is destroying GOP hopes of an R vs R runoff in the California governor’s race,” Rob Pyers of California Target Book wrote in a post on X about the president’s endorsement of Hilton.
“Trump’s endorsement of Steve Hilton will likely save tens of millions of dollars for Democratic groups that would otherwise have to spend heavily to promote one of the GOP’s two leading gubernatorial candidates to avoid a Democratic lockout,” Pyers wrote in another post.
