Australia
Which areas eat the most vegetables?

Last week the ABS released mind-blowing new data on who eats what and where in Australia. We can now map vegetable consumption across the country for the first time.
You might post your lunch on Facebook, but the data doesn’t lie: some of you wouldn’t recognize broccoli if it slapped you in the face.
Here’s a map of the country by vegetable consumption (apologies to areas with missing data, particularly Tasmania). This shows that vegetable consumption varies most within our cities, with outer suburbs eating less and inner suburbs making good friends with salad.
