David Warner charged with drink-driving
Australian cricket star David Warner has been charged with drink driving after failing a random breath test in Maroubra on Sunday night.
Police allegedly saw a van stop near the testing site and park and found 39-year-old Warner behind the wheel. The former international cricketer underwent an on-field breath test and returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Maroubra police station; here it was claimed that a second test gave a result of 0.104.
Warner is due in court next month.
