Communist China is reportedly providing military aid to the embattled Iranian regime, according to a leading US military think tank and other reports.

The Institute for the Study of War, basing its research on recent reports, stated that China provided military assistance to the Iranian regime’s missile program.

According to the Institute, “China is helping Iran restructure its missile program in the face of U.S.-Israeli efforts to disrupt the program.”

According to the Institute for the Study of War, “Western media have reported that China has sent multiple shipments of missile fuel precursors to Iran since the beginning of the war.”

“China’s efforts to aid Iran’s reconstruction could undermine combined force efforts to disrupt or destroy supporting elements of its ballistic missile program,” the institute said.

“China is an enemy combatant and is endangering our troops,” China expert Gordon Chang told Fox News Digital.

The Daily Telegraph recently reported: “Ships believed to be carrying Chinese chemicals for missile fuel have arrived in Iran, raising questions about Beijing’s support for the regime. Four ships flying Iranian flags have docked in Iranian ports since the start of the war.”

The report also claimed “Sanctioned ships carrying enough chemicals to produce hundreds of bullets are heading to Iranian ports from China.”

Chang called on the United States to seize Chinese ships reportedly carrying sodium perchlorate, the chemical needed for Iran’s missile fuel systems. “This is a matter of America’s willingness to impose costs on China,” he added.

Chang concluded: “The US President has many trump cards in his hand. If you look at the overall relationship between China and the US, the US has more cards to play.” He cited the US-China trade relationship as China is an export-oriented country and dependent on the vital American consumer market.

The Islamic Republic’s military forces are reportedly working feverishly to rebuild its missile apparatus after punishing US and Israeli airstrikes since the war began on February 28.

According to the Institute for the Study of War, “According to recent U.S. intelligence assessments, Iran is excavating underground missile bunkers and silos struck by the combined force, and in some cases returning them to operation within hours of the strikes. Iran may be restoring access to its launchers within hours of the strikes, but these launchers are components of a larger system that has been compromised. The reported fear and lack of coordination among some Iranian forces means that medium-range missile systems are still operating suboptimally.”

Sanctions were imposed on Chinese companies as part of circumventing US restrictions on providing military aid to the Iranian regime. in 2023 US Treasury Department “It said it identified an individual and six entities in a sanctions evasion network that facilitated Iran’s purchase of electronic components for its destabilizing military programs, including those used in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This action specifically targets the head of the US-designated Iran’s Pardazan System Namad Arman (PASNA) and the organization’s front companies based in Iran, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the PRC.”[People’s Republic of China] and suppliers of PASNA’s supply of goods and technology.”

Just last month, a report by the Atlantic Council found that “China has provided Iran with drones, anti-ship cruise missiles, surface-to-air missiles, and their components to aid its air and sea defense capabilities. In other examples, China has directly supplied Iran with Western or Chinese technology components found in Iranian drones used against U.S. military installations and economic interests in the Gulf, as well as against Russia’s battlefield in Ukraine.”

Fox News Digital media’s questions to China’s Embassy in Washington DC were not immediately responded to.
