Tragedy as missing Brit who vanished in Italian Alps is found dead close to where he sent final selfie to friend and message saying he’d ‘lost the path’
A British wicker who disappeared in Italy was found dead while on vacation.
33 -year -old Matthew Hall disappeared on July 9 after sending a message to friends shortly after going to the mountains.
The search teams saw his body at a short distance to his last text, and a helicopter had to be used to save him due to high risk for the savior.
When the worker Matthew stayed in Valchiavenna, near Sondrio when he disappeared, he stayed at a B&B, and after he could not control the owner, he lifted the alarms.
Mr. Hall’s friends, who was from Hull and worked at the wide band company Quickline, had flew to join his prey, and his mother Sara Foster came to help.
In the last text sent to his friend Jacob White on the day of his disappearance, Mr. Hall said he had received a ‘wrong turn’ on a path and thought he was ‘resting’.
Mr. White said Mr. Hall was ‘relieved’ in the text and asked his own holiday in Cornwall.
His friend ‘may have seen any danger that he may have seen’ he added.

Mr. Hall, a search effort was initiated when he could not appear for payment for the local bed and breakfast.

In addition, San Gacomo Filippo, near Alpe Daloo on a well -known road and search teams used a picture of a turning point to friends and family who used it as a focal point for hunting.
Defined as ‘Authorized Walker’, Mr. Hall came to Italy for a four -day walk break in the Valchiavenna series on July 8, and drones and dogs were used before the tragic discovery.
Lt Gim Toni de Masi from Local Carabinieri Police told Mailonline: ‘The body of the missing man was found at 19:00 on Wednesday night.
“ `The cross in a very dangerous area was about 200 meters below 200 meters, and a helicopter had to be used to save it.
‘We received a call that says that someone had identified something and that a team was sent back to take a look and that it was discovery.
“ Newly arriving to Italy was informed and I understand that his father will come here on Friday.
