AFL grand final murder case twist as four arrested in South Australia

Police investigating the death of a father-of-two who was last seen alive on AFL grand final day have arrested four more people.
Moana’s Chris Robertson was found dead in a workshop in Lonsdale on September 30 last year.
The 49-year-old was last seen alive three days ago as he celebrated the AFL grand final.
His death was declared a capital crime, and in December former Hells Angel Dylan Danaher, 30, of Happy Valley, was charged with murder.
But now four more people will appear in court in connection with the tragedy.

The four suspects who will appear before the judge on Thursday are:
• A 33-year-old woman from Happy Valley was charged with two counts of aiding a criminal and one count of threatening or retaliating against persons participating in criminal investigations
• A 61-year-old Happy Valley man is charged with two counts of aiding a criminal
• A 29-year-old man from Christies Beach has been charged with threatening or retaliating against people involved in criminal investigations
• A 27-year-old man from Christies Beach has been charged with threatening or retaliating against people involved in criminal investigations
All four were refused bail by police and are expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Det Supt Darren Fielke, who is leading the investigation, said: “We will not hesitate to investigate such crimes and will actively pursue prosecutions against anyone found assisting those responsible, interfering with investigations or threatening witnesses.”

Mr Robertson’s body was found in a warehouse in O’Sullivan Beach Road, Lonsdale, and post-mortem examinations revealed he died from injuries consistent with an assault.
The first lines of the police investigation centered around a gray Triton coupling believed to have been Mr Robertson’s passenger before that evening.
Police located the vehicle in late November, two weeks before the next potential breakthrough was to be proven.
On December 11, Mr. Danaher, 30, was arrested and charged with murder. His next hearing will be held in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on July 7.
