Education is True Weapon for Progress: Bhatti

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu stated here on Thursday that only education can empower children in Telangana to grow and succeed. He emphasized that no other power can elevate society as much as education, which alone can build a just and progressive social order.
On Thursday, Amma Foundation distributed free bicycles to government school and college students at the Bonakal mandal headquarters under its initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the latest socio-economic, education, employment and caste survey (SEEEPC) conducted by the state government clearly shows that development is possible only through education.
No child in the state should go to school hungry. A hungry student cannot fully concentrate on the lesson and cannot understand the lessons. Keeping this in mind, the government will launch a breakfast scheme for 20 lakh students studying in government schools from June 2.
Starting from the next academic year, secondary school students will also be provided with free lunch. He emphasized that the government has invested thousands of trillions in education and this investment should not go to waste.
Every child born in the state should be given the opportunity to receive as much education as they wish. The government aims to develop students into high-quality human resources. He added that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy gave special importance to education and directed to provide all necessary facilities.
The Deputy Chief Minister urged parents to understand and support the government’s vision, emphasizing that education is the foundation of a stronger and more equitable Telangana.
