He added that India will closely monitor the situation and provide all possible support to the family.
In 2008, Priya moved to Yemen to support her family home. The problems began in 2017 when a business dispute broke out with the Yemeni partner Mehdi. Allegedly, it was allegedly applying a soothing to him to get the seized passport. It was reported that sedatives were fatal.
Priya was arrested while trying to leave the country and proved in 2018 for murder. In November 2023, a Yemeni court sentenced him to death in 2020, a decision approved by the Yemenic High Judicial Council.
However, under the Yemeni law, there is a brutal window through a blood money regulation that the victim’s family agrees to be forgiven in exchange for compensation.
Following the reports that a history of execution was determined, the politicians on the party lines in Kerala applied to the Union Government and the President of the Indian president to intervene immediately.
Previously, Prime Minister Pinaray wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called on to use all diplomatic channels to stay in execution. Opposition leaders also repeated similar demands by pressure on humanitarian thoughts in Priya’s case.
Human Rights Groups urgently marked the case by drawing attention to the limited access to Yemen, where both the complexities of international law and the war, where the war, where the diplomatic asset of India has disintegrated.
