Trump makes astonishing claim he was BLINDSIDED by Melania’s Epstein bombshell

Donald Trump claimed he was caught off guard by Melania’s surprise White House address, which blasted ‘taints’ linking her to Jeffrey Epstein.
The president told MS Now he “knew nothing” about the first lady’s statement before appearing on camera.
Trump added: “I didn’t know.” [Epstein]Before hanging up on the reporter.
Melania previously sent shockwaves through Washington with a surprise address denying that she was an Epstein victim or that the pedophile financier had introduced her to her future husband.
The reason for the announcement was not immediately clear, as there were no recent statements or reports linking Melania to Epstein.
“I am not a victim of Epstein,” the first lady said from the White House’s Cross Room. ‘Epstein didn’t introduce me to Donald Trump. ‘I met my husband by chance at a party in New York in 1998.’
Melania said she was “never friends with Epstein” after an email sent to the British socialite was revealed in files released by the Ministry of Justice, and she also denied any closeness with Ghislaine Maxwell.
The first lady, who was a model when she first met Trump, said she and the President only encountered Epstein in the New York-Palm Beach social scene and that such overlap was “common.”

First Lady Melania Trump leaves the Blue Room to speak in the Cross Room of the White House on April 9 in Washington, D.C.
Marc Beckman, Special Senior Adviser to First Lady Melania Trump, told the Daily Mail about the timing of the statement: ‘First Lady Melania Trump has spoken now because enough is enough. The lies must stop.
‘It is time for the public and the media to focus on her incredible accomplishments as First Lady, the lives she has positively impacted, and her commitment to our nation.’
Trump and Melania met at the Kit Kat Klub in New York in 1998, when he was 28 years old. Modeling agency boss Paolo Zampolli, who serves as Trump’s special envoy for global partnerships, claims to have introduced the couple, who married in 2005.
Melania looked visibly nervous throughout, shaking and looking down at her notes instead of looking at the camera. He took no questions before leaving the podium.
The First Lady told the room that she first met Epstein in 2000 and was unaware of any negativity; He was not publicly charged until 2005.
The first lady said she had seen “fake images and statements” on social media for years linking her to Epstein and urged viewers to “be careful about what you believe.”
‘These images and stories are completely false. “I am not a witness or an anonymous witness in connection with any of Epstein’s crimes,” he said.
‘The false smears about me from mean-spirited and politically motivated individuals and entities looking to cause damage to my good name to gain financially and climb politically must stop,’ the First Lady continued.
‘I and my lawyers have successfully fought these baseless and baseless lies and will continue to protect my solid reputation without hesitation.’
In a surprising move, Melania called on Congress to hold hearings with victims of Epstein’s abuse.
“I urge Congress to provide a public hearing that centers on the women victimized by Epstein, especially the survivors,” she added.
Melania noted that Epstein did not work alone and that many prominent male executives resigned as the scandal became increasingly politicized.

He said this did not imply guilt but added: ‘We must still work openly and transparently to uncover the truth.’
Melania also addressed an email she sent to Maxwell that was revealed in the Epstein files in January, emphasizing that her response was merely polite and did not indicate an intimate relationship.
‘My email response to Maxwell can hardly be described as anything other than casual correspondence. Melania replied that my polite response to her email amounted to nothing more than a trivial note.
Buried within the more than three million Epstein Files is an email signed ‘Love, Melania’ that appears to have been addressed to Maxwell.
The sender’s and recipient’s names are redacted in the email dated October 23, 2002.
The message begins: ‘Dear G! How are you? Good story about JE in NY magazine. ‘You look great in the picture.’
That week, New York Magazine published the now infamous story: ‘Jeffrey Epstein: The Mysterious International Money Man.’
The article included a full-page color image of a grinning front of Epstein’s private jet alongside Bill Clinton as actors Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker boarded.
The piece included a photo of Maxwell at a black-tie event with Epstein, as well as a photo of Donald Trump and his financier chatting with Belgian supermodel Ingrid Seynhaeve at a Victoria’s Secret party.
The email continues: ‘I know you are very busy flying all over the world. How was Palm Beach? I can’t wait to get down. Call me when you get back to New York. Hope you have a good time!’
Lovingly signed: ‘Love, Melania.’
Epstein was found hanged in a Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, and Maxwell is serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in the conspiracy.
