St George Illawarra Dragons v Manly Sea Eagles scores, results, time, program, entertainment, tips, odds, weather, how to watch
Dragons coach Shane Flanagan changed his halves tonight, with his son Kyle returning from injury at half-time and Daniel Atkinson moving from five-eighth.
“Last week I thought Kyle wasn’t there and [Atkinson] “He brought a lot of responsibilities with getting the team around the park, kicking and running, so we thought we’d take some of the pressure off him and focus on his running and kicking game so Kyle could get the team around the park,” Flanagan told Fox Sports’ Lara Pitt.
“Hopefully this will free Daniel up a bit mentally and free his mind to get the job done.”
Flanagan says the Dragons’ power could fully match Manly’s pace.
“They move the ball, they move it in the second game,” he says. “Last week, I think in the second game against the Dolphins, we saw them score a goal at the second try. So I know pretty well what their strengths are, I’ve been there for a year, so we just need to be good and take them out at the back end of the pitch, use our strength on their pace and make sure we defend well.”
