DMK demands reinstatement of N. Muruganandam as Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary

DMK has appealed to the Election Commission of India (ECI) to withdraw the transfer of Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam and reinstate him as State Chief Secretary.

DMK treasurer T R Baalu, in a letter to the EC, also strongly opposed the appointment of Sandeep Mittal as Director General of Police (Armed Police and Vigilance and Anti-Corruption), alleging that Mr Mittal was a supporter of the BJP and RSS.
