Singareni Worker’s Daughter Gets State’s 2nd Rank

Adilabad: Renka Vaishnavi of Srirampur, daughter of a laborer from Singareni, is said to have secured the second rank of the state in the Intermediate BiPC stream. It received 995 points out of 1000. His father works as a general mazdoor in RK 5 coal mine in Srirampur. Vaishnavi said that after completing her medical specialization, she wants to settle down as a doctor to serve people. Earlier, Vaishnavi had secured 10/10 CGPA in SSC. Her father, Chandramouli, said that his daughter was good at studies and worked hard since her childhood and it paid off in the Intermediate exam.

Soumya K., a student of a welfare institution in Mancherial, scored 994 out of 1,000 marks in the MPC stream. He chose university because of the financial difficulties of his family, who worked as a tailor. He said his sister was also studying in the same college, cleared the NEET-UG exam and is currently pursuing her third year of MBBS. Soumya has already passed JEE Main Session 1 and is aiming to crack JEE Advanced and get a seat in an IIT. He also chose the arts stream to prepare for the UPSC exam and is currently aiming to clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to secure admission for Bachelor of Economics (Hons) at Delhi University.

N. Mani Sampana from Government College, Palvancha secured 985 out of 1,000 in HEC stream. Although his father, a government gurukul English teacher, could afford private education, he chose a government university for him. He believes that public colleges are as good as private colleges and that their teachers are extremely knowledgeable. Sampana said the results in the Intermediate Public Examinations showed that many students pursuing secondary education in government-run colleges achieved excellent success.

A. Naveena scored 950 out of 1,000 in HEC stream. He lives with his grandparents because he lost his parents when he was five years old. He studied at Government College in Jagtial and aims to become a social studies teacher.
