Britney Spears checks herself into rehab weeks after DUI arrest

By her own admission, Spears has a long history with the program: In her 2023 memoir The Woman In Me, she wrote that she attended AA meetings four times a week during her time at the conservatory, previously run by her father, Jamie Spears.

She previously addressed the effects of a DUI in a March 27 post while dancing with her son Jayden.
In her social media post, Spears said, “Thank you for your support, friends… spending time with your family and friends is such a blessing,” and advised her followers to “stay kind.”

Authorities said the incident came to light when a person reported an erratic driver in a black BMW 430i on U.S. 101 at the border of Ventura County and Los Angeles County.
