Britney Spears’ son seen after ‘staging intervention’ to force singer into rehab as ex Kevin breaks his silence
Britney Spears’ youngest son Jayden Federline was photographed for the first time after he reportedly helped perform an intervention that led to him checking into rehab.
The 19-year-old was spotted buying a smoothie and groceries from luxury food market Erewhon in Los Angeles on Monday. She stepped out in a white tank top, floral shorts and black sneakers.
Her outing comes a day after Spears, 44, checked herself into a treatment facility following a recent DUI arrest.
A source told the Daily Mail that interference from Jayden and his brother Sean Preston, 20, forced him to seek treatment for 30 days.
‘The kids started to get involved. They were the only people he listened to and they were so caring, so gentle, but also so determined. “This is non-negotiable for them,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, the singer’s ex-husband, 48-year-old Kevin Federline, is ‘happy’ to receive treatment.

His lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said: “Kevin is aware of reports that he has sought rehab and is happy to get help if he needs it, and that this decision appears to be one he has made rather than one imposed on him by others.” TMZ On Monday.

A representative for Spears confirmed to the Daily Mail that the singer “voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility” on Sunday.

Her sons have been spending more time with their famous mom lately after some time apart.

Spears was visited by Jayden last month following her dramatic DUI arrest and has seen him before around Christmas, but Sean doesn’t appear to have spent time with her since last year.
Spears has been sober since she was arrested for drunk driving near her mansion in California’s Westlake Village neighborhood.
And the Womanizer singer regularly attends Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings in the Los Angeles area.

“Britney has been very open and honest in AA meetings, saying she likes to vent because she knows it’s the best way to heal and feel better,” a source told the Daily Mail.

The Louisiana native has been spending quality time with her sons lately.
