Mark Carney and Alexander Stubb share friendly hockey match

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Finnish President Alexander Stubb took to the ice with the Ottawa Charge hockey team for a friendly match. The event took place during Stubb’s first official bilateral visit to Canada.

According to the official statement, the visit aims to deepen cooperation between Finland and Canada in the fields of trade, defence, technology, energy and Arctic policy.

The friendly hockey match for Carney came just hours after the Liberal Party won a slim majority in the House of Commons.
