Assembly Elections 2026 LIVE updates: BJP using AIADMK as a ‘mask’ in attempt to enter Tamil Nadu, Stalin says

Amid the high-octave election campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to attend a roadshow in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, April 15. Other party leaders, including AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami, BJP State President Nainar Nagenthran and K. Annamalai, are likely to attend the event.

The Prime Minister had visited Kanniyakumari district several times in the past and made election campaign speeches. However, senior BJP leader Pon Radhakrishnan said he will hold a promotional tour in an open vehicle for the first time, allowing people to see it up close.

Mr. Radhakrishnan said that the event will start at 3 pm and will cover a distance of about one km. It would start from Kamaraj statue at Veppamoodu junction, pass through clock tower, Jeeva statue, Anna statue and end at MGR statue at Vadasery.
