Telangana swelters as temperatures breach 43°C mark in five places, Hyderabad records 40.9°C

Intense heatwave-like conditions continued to affect Telangana Maximum temperatures were recorded above 40°C on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in all 33 districts in the state. A total of five locations violated the 43°C limit, while the majority of the locations reported temperatures between 42°C and 43°C. According to data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), Hyderabad recorded the lowest maximum temperature in the state at 40.9°C.
Adavi Devula Palli in Nalgonda district emerged as the hottest place, recording a maximum temperature of 43.5°C. This was followed by Korutla (Jagtial) at 43.4°C, Dasturabad (Nirmal) and Bheemgal (Nizamabad) at 43.3°C and Bela (Adilabad) at 43.2°C.
