Netflix enlists AI for first time to cut costs and boost creativity
Netflix says that it uses visual effects created by productive artificial intelligence (AI) on the screen for the first time in one of the original TV shows.
Ted Sarandos, the common CEO of the stream giant, said that AI’s Argentine science fiction show, which produces videos and images based on demands, is used to create the scene of a collapsed building in Eternauts.
He praised the technology as “an amazing opportunity to help creators make films and series”.
The use of productive AI is controversial in the entertainment industry and feared that people will replace their work.
