Meghan Markle gives gushing two-word review of Australia | Royal | News

Meghan Markle explained exactly how she feels about Australia with a two-word comment on the third day of the couple’s visit. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived Down Under on Tuesday and have already made several visits for reasons that concern them.

Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, visited the Batyr Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Program on the grounds of Swinburne University on Thursday. As the couple was leaving, a member of the crowd asked Meghan if she wanted to return to Australia.

“Oh my god, I would love to come back,” he replied, adding a two-word comment: “Awesome.”

During the couple’s visit, Meghan spoke to a class of young people at mental health organization Batyr.

He told those in attendance that social media companies were “not encouraged to stop”, adding: “And I can really speak to that personally, so I like to listen because it rings true for me in a very realistic way.”

Speaking of her own experience, Meghan added: “I’ve been bullied and attacked every day for 10 years now, 10 years. And I was the most trolled person in the entire world.”

He later added: “Now, I’m still here. And when I think about all of you and what you’ve been through, I think a big part of it is you have to realize that you know this industry, that billion-dollar industry that is completely based on cruelty and oppression to get clicks – that’s not going to change.”

“That’s why you have to be stronger than this.”

The former working royal will embark on a three-day wellness retreat with the Her Best Life podcast from tomorrow until Sunday.

He will be a speaker at the event to be held at the InterContinental on the Coogee coast.
