As Jack Whitehall weds ex-glamour model Roxy: Downtown Abbey meets Eastenders… it can only be the celebrity wedding of the year!

A stunning conservatory, a beautiful boating lake and a wisteria-covered pergola are all set within the expansive grounds of an idyllic Cotswold manor.

Could there be a more perfect venue for the celebrity wedding of the year?

Euridge Manor in Wiltshire is where comedian Jack Whitehall will marry former glamor model Roxy Horner in a £250,000 extravaganza described today as ‘the hottest ticket in showbiz’, the Daily Mail can reveal.

Jack will be accompanied by his famous friends such as James Corden and his wife Julia Carey and Jamie Redknapp and his wife Frida at the wedding, which sources say will be full of ‘anger and fun’.

But they better not be too enthusiastic. In 2023, Euridge Manor’s owner, John Robinson, the multimillionaire founder of fashion brand Jigsaw, was embroiled in a bitter planning dispute with neighbors who were angry about the raucous weddings he held there.

As one guest said: ‘The wedding won’t be as rowdy as Jack’s stag party. And that’s probably not a bad thing.’ It was a reference to a photo of the 37-year-old from a Soho pub crawl with Corden and Redknapp two weeks ago, where the groom looked worse for wear with a blown-up crown on his head.

The antics were so intoxicating that Jack cheekily thanked the Daily Mail for telling us what had happened on his night out when he saw our photos the next day.

But when it comes to her wedding day, she’s not that cocky. Friends say Jack is ‘extremely nervous’; these are not words usually associated with comics.

The couple will marry at Euridge Manor in Wiltshire on Saturday. The Manor was previously at the center of a row between the manor’s owner, fashion mogul John Robinson, and neighbors angered by noisy weddings held there.

‘Forget the nerves of hosting the BRIT Awards, this is much more nervous,’ a friend told me. ‘He was so excited and looking forward to the day but this is a big moment. He has hosted some of the biggest shows in show business; It was Saturday Night Live last week, but standing up to deliver a groom’s speech is much more daunting.

‘He loves Roxy so much and now this is his chance to show his nearest and dearest just how much. But the most important thing is that everyone has a great time.’

I was told the groom’s outfit would follow a black tie theme, and it looks like he paired his tuxedo with Christian Louboutin shoes.

But while Jack may be the most famous of the happy couple, all eyes will inevitably be on Roxy, 34. The pair, who met while they were both working in Australia, made their relationship official in 2020 when Roxy moved into Jack’s bachelor pad in Notting Hill.

Friends say she is determined that ‘everything will be perfect’ and that includes her clothes.

She was having her final fitting at Mayfair bridal store Galia Lahav this week and was seen trying on a strapless white dress that cinched in the waist and flared out into the princess skirt.

She looked equally gorgeous in a corset dress with a semi-sheer bodice. She lifted her blonde curls up to secure her veil as she turned in front of the mirror. It is thought that one of the dresses was for the ceremony and the other was for the after party.

‘Roxy found the entire wedding dress shopping experience the most beautiful experience,’ says a source. ‘He is loved every second, this is a dream come true; ‘It’s his fairy tale.’

Indeed, it’s been a long week of bridal preparations for Roxy, who raised eyebrows on Thursday when she revealed she even shaved her big toes.

Sharing close-ups of her on Instagram, she wrote: ‘Sorry about my wrinkled feet from staying in the bathroom for too long, but why did I decide to shave my big toes before the wedding for the first time in my life? Now I’ll have painful cuts and no one, literally no one, not even my dog, will notice that I have smooth big toes.’

As for her chickens, Roxy had several. She recently enjoyed a boozy weekend in London and shared details of her luxurious girls’ night out online as she received karaoke, a private dinner and dance lessons from former Strictly pro Luba Mushtuk. They also attended a Magic Mike show at London’s Hippodrome Casino, where he was surprised by a lap dance from a stripper.

Roxy, who said she was in her ‘bridal phase’ in January, wore a stunning wedding dress to the Burns Night dinner and oozed elegance in her Nadine Merabi sheer floral dress, priced at £615.

‘Roxy is celebrating this wedding so much, it’s so special for her,’ says a friend. Indeed, the last six years have been a whirlwind for Roxy, who first appeared in British Vogue at the age of 17. She also took part in modeling campaigns for brands such as Boohoo, Boux Avenue and Superdry.

When it comes to romance, Roxy has previously been linked to a wide variety of men, including actor Leonardo DiCaprio and The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex. Those who know the couple say she and Jack are “polar opposites.” Roxy continued her local education in Essex while receiving private education at the Dragon School in Oxford, then Marlborough College.

Jack’s parents are theater manager and TV producer turned TV personality Michael Whitehall and actress Hilary.

Little is known about Roxy’s parents, but on The Jonathan Ross Show last month Jack described the wedding as ‘Downton Abbey meets EastEnders’.

‘My family are vest-wearing chinless snobs and his family are all Cockney, they’re all West Ham fans, they’re literally the salt of the earth,’ he said.

Still, they say opposites attract, and in 2023, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Elsie. They also have a dog, Coco. After Elsie arrived, the couple moved into a luxury townhouse.

They announced their engagement on Instagram in December 2024, where Roxy shared a video montage featuring her stunning diamond engagement ring.

Friends say Euridge Manor is their ‘couples’ absolute favorite’ wedding venue, and it’s easy to see why. The 17th-century manor house is located on the 450-acre site of Sir Walter Raleigh’s former hunting lodge, on the edge of Combe Castle.

With its conservatory, rose gardens, helipad and ballroom, the property has been hosting private events since 2004 and weddings since 2015. But when Robinson applied retroactively for permission to hold events in 2021, neighbors complained about noisy guests, loud music and noisy traffic, and his application was rejected by the local council in May 2022.

Eventually the local community and Robinson found a way forward and in June 2025 he was granted permission to host weddings starting from £23,000.

Another challenge was also in order. Jack’s mother, Hilary, was furious after he gave her false information about the dress code. ‘A few weeks ago when I asked Jack what the dress code was. . . gave me the wrong dress code. I bought the wrong dress [then] The invitation came with a different dress code. [Jack] ‘I’m sorry about that, mom,’ he said.’

Let’s hope the lines of communication between husband and wife are smoother.
