Shocking footage of shooting at The Men’s Gallery strip club shared online

Shocking footage captured the moment a black-clad attacker opened fire at a Melbourne strip club.

The footage was shared online by gangland news outlet Outlaw Media on Friday, just hours after police say a single gunshot was fired into the Men’s Gallery in a drive-by around 4:10 a.m.

In the footage, a gloved and hooded figure is seen firing a silver gun from the passenger seat of a vehicle just a few meters away from the front entrance of the venue.

A security guard standing in the doorway appears to notice the threat and runs for cover.

Days after the attempted arson attack, footage has emerged of a drive-by shooting outside the Men’s Gallery in Melbourne.

According to Victoria Police, no one was physically injured in the incident.

“There was a drive-by shooting at a licensed premises on Lonsdale Street at approximately 4.10am this morning,” Victoria Police said in a statement.

“Shots were fired towards the facility from a dark-colored vehicle.”

Anyone with information or footage is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.

The shooting took place just days after the Men’s Gallery was targeted in an arson attempt at around 5.45am on April 14.

The Victoria Police arson and explosives squad is investigating possible links between the two incidents and a series of “suspicious fires” at pubs, restaurants and clubs last week.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Detective Inspector Chris Murray said there had been at least seven arson attacks of unknown motivation on licensed premises in previous days.

“We’re looking at the connections between these arson attacks, we don’t see any connections,” he said.

“Of course the owners are cooperating, they don’t understand why they are being targeted.

“We suspect these jobs are being given to everyone… these young children are being used as cannon fodder.”

Inspector Murray said there had been some arrests made in connection with the two fires, with police alleging young men were paid “several hundred dollars” to commit arson.

“If you see anything unusual, call Crime Stoppers and when I say ‘something unusual’ … we’re seeing young men getting out of vehicles at 3 in the morning with canisters in their hands, now if you see that; obviously that’s something we’re concerned about,” he said.
