Prince Harry and Meghan receive surprise from Archie and Lilibet after Australia | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned from Australia with a sweet surprise from their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Meghan uploaded a video to Instagram to show the couple returning to find a “Welcome Home” banner adorning their door.
Meghan also posted a clip showing off a host of Australian souvenirs and treats apparently aimed at children, including Tim Tams (a chocolate biscuit popular in Australia), sweets, picture books and a handwritten card.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in Australia for a trip that combines private, business and philanthropic activities with a program that begins on Tuesday, April 14.
The planned trip took them to the cities of Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney, and Prince Harry and Meghan spoke candidly about their own mental health during separate events.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also taken on private meetings and special projects while abroad, and Meghan has also made headlines. Best Life podcast’s “girls weekend” retreat.
Harry and Meghan’s 2026 trip to Australia marks their first return to the continent since their official royal tour in October 2018.
The couple’s children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, did not join them in Australia, and similarly the children did not accompany their humanitarian trips to Jordan in February or to Colombia or Nigeria last year.
Harry and Meghan’s excited Labrador, Pula, was also there to greet them upon their return from Australia, wagging her tail enthusiastically as they walked in.
Meghan also shared a compilation of unseen moments from her and her husband’s trip Down Under on her Instagram account.
