Delhi Capitals co-owner GMR Sports CEO Satyam Trivedi steps down

Mumbai: GMR Sports CEO Satyam Trivedi has left the organisation, many people said, saying they were directly aware of the issue. They added that the organisation, which owns and co-owns several sports franchises including IPL team Delhi Capitals, is in the process of appointing his successor.
Trivedi joined GMR Sports as CEO from RPSG Sports in August 2024, where he served as deputy CEO and executive director. Before this, he headed Adani Sportsline. The reason for the resignation could not be confirmed.
An email sent to GMR Sports remained unanswered by press time on Monday.
GMR Sports owns or co-owns Dubai Capitals (International League T20), Seattle Orcas (Major League Cricket), Southern Brave (The Hundred), UP Yoddhas (Pro Kabaddi League) and Telugu Yoddhas (Ultimate Kho Kho). The company also holds the commercial rights to the Rugby Premier League.
