Man snatched from Guildford home
A man was kidnapped outside a Sydney home late at night before police arrested five men almost 20 kilometers away an hour later.
Nine News has identified the victim as Emilio Chalhoub, believed to be a bodyguard of Sydney rapper Ali Younes (aka Ay Huncho), an alleged member of the Alameddine crime network.
The victim, in his 30s, was allegedly attacked outside a house in Guildford at 11.30pm on Monday and forced into a car.
Shortly after the kidnapping, police found a partially burned car on Belmore Street in Villawood, about three miles from the scene of the kidnapping. It is suspected that the burned vehicle was used in the kidnapping.
The victim was found with facial injuries in Casula at around 12.30pm on Tuesday. He was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Five men who police believe were involved in the attack and kidnapping were arrested near Kane Place in Casula, a small cul-de-sac off the Hume Highway.
The group was taken to Liverpool Police Station.
Police allege Chalhoub was the target of a botched attack at his home in Guildford in June. In this attack, a boy aged 15 and 22 attacked the man’s father and stabbed him several times when his identity was misunderstood.
It comes amid renewed gang fighting across Sydney and a month after NSW Police established Taskforce Falcon to crack down on growing organized crime.
