Simone Biles steps out in remarkable $11K gown at Laureus World Sports Awards after admitting her own fans make her anxious

Simone Biles asked fans to respect her privacy after voicing her concerns in a recent social media post.
The 29-year-old US hero has become a household name across the country and the world thanks to his seven gold medals on the Olympic stage.
However, Biles, who admits that her fans sometimes worry her, thinks that the center of attention is too bright at times.
The gymnast, who traveled to Madrid for the weekend for the 2026 Laureus World Sports Awards, expressed privacy concerns on Instagram.
‘Okay, I really love how passionate and dedicated you all are, BUT I have to be honest. It really worries me that you’re standing outside the hotel all day. “Please please please can we love from afar and respect privacy xx,” she wrote on Sunday.
“I’d love to take pictures while we’re out though,” she added over a photo of a cocktail at a restaurant.

The Laureus World Sports Awards is an annual event that honors individuals and teams while also celebrating great sporting achievements.
The American gymnast won the Laureus Athlete of the Year award four times. He clinched his fourth trophy following his Olympic victory at the 2024 Paris Games.
But this year, Biles attended the event as an ambassador rather than a recipient.

Biles’ ambassador job in Laureus was first announced in February.
Following her appointment as ambassador, Biles shared: ‘Laureus has played a meaningful role in my journey for many years, and I am incredibly proud to have been awarded the Laureus Athlete of the Year four times, including last year’s Awards in Madrid, which was an unforgettable night for me.
‘I have seen this power in action; ‘How sport can open doors, build confidence and help young people feel seen and supported,’ he continued. ‘The opportunity to visit the girls in Milan reminded me why this work is so important: their energy, their determination, their joy.’
