Raghav Chadha and 6 AAP Rajya Sabha MPs join BJP in a major political shift

Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha and six other Aam Aadmi Party MPs left the party and joined the BJP on Friday, April 24, 2026.

Speaking at a press conference with Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal, Mr Chadha, who was recently demoted by AAP“As the 2/3rd members of AAP in the Rajya Sabha, we have decided to implement the provisions of the Constitution of India and merge ourselves with the BJP.” he said.
