This is the chilling moment a former beauty queen was allegedly shot by her mother-in-law in her luxury apartment in Mexico.
New mother Carolina Flores Gomez was just 27 when she was fatally shot 12 times in the face, neck and head in Mexico City on April 15.
The harrowing footage, apparently filmed at her home, shows the young mother wandering around the living room before entering a deeper room of the flat.
Her mother-in-law, Erika Herrera, 63, was seen walking slowly behind Carolina with both hands in her pockets.
He followed Carolina into the room before loud explosions and screams were heard.
In the sad footage, which was first reported by the Mexican newspaper Reforma, Carolina’s husband Alejandro Gomez can be seen reacting to the alleged shooting incident.

Just seconds after his wife was murdered, Alejandro entered the frame of the video with his eight-month-old baby and asked his mother in Spanish: ‘What was that? ‘What crazy thing did you do?’
Herrera replied: ‘Nothing. It made me angry.”
Gomez calmly asks him: ‘What’s your problem, it’s my family.’
Herrera replied: ‘You are mine and he stole you.’
Local media reported that the family did not report the fatal attack until the next day.
Carolina’s mother, Reyna Gomez Molina, told Univision News that the attack was not reported until the next day because the family was worried about what would happen to the couple’s young child.
Police have since opened an investigation into the incident, and Reforma reported today that the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for Herrera, whose whereabouts are unknown.
Carolina won the Miss Teen Universe title for Baja California in 2017 at the age of 18 before leaving the Mexican state to move to the nation’s capital.

‘We share the pain of his family and loved ones and send them a hug full of solidarity. Rest in peace.
‘Your teachers will always remember you as that beautiful little girl, full of love and compassion.’
Reyna Gomez Molina organized a protest march in memory of her daughter over the weekend, demanding justice.
He wrote on social media: ‘Let’s raise our voices for my daughter so that her name is not just a statistic.’
