M4 traffic LIVE: Road closed as young driver fights for life after horror collision | UK | News

The M4 is closed to westbound traffic in Wiltshire between J14 Hungerford Junction (Hungerford. Wantage A338) and J15 Plow Lane Junction (Marlborough A346; Swindon A419) due to a serious collision involving a car and a bus at around 2.35am on Sunday 26 April.

Police later confirmed all emergency services, including Wiltshire Police, attended the initial crash, which left a man in his 20s fighting for his life in hospital. Another section of westbound lanes of the M4 is closed following a second serious crash on Sunday.

National Highways traffic officers are providing traffic management at the roadblock for the second crash near Swindon. Crash scene investigators remain at the scene and lanes between J16 (near Swindon) and J17 (near Chippenham) remain closed.

There is currently no estimated time frame to see the M4 fully reopen.
