Vehicle ‘ploughs into crowd’ in Los Angeles to injure at least 20 – with five fighting for life
At least 20 people were injured in Los Angeles after a nightclub was applied to a crowd.
Emergency Services, Santa Monica Boulevard ‘unknown vehicle’ in the early hours of Saturday morning, a crowd responds to a collision.
La Firefighters said that they treated more than 20 patients and fought four or five in critical states for their lives. It is between eight and ten serious states, 10-15 more ‘in a fair state’.
Social media images react greatly to the incident with dozens of firefighters and police officers who descended to the street in Eastern Hollywood.
The wrinkled remains of a gray car can also be seen on the sidewalk in the middle of a debris sea outside the Vermont nightclub.
Another video – in moments after the accident – showing people around the car, while others can be seen lying on the floor.
A witness at the scene claimed that he had heard a fiery fire before seeing someone hit the crowd outside the nightclub.
He added that the driver stayed in the car before being handled by the security guards.

Speaking at the scene, La firefighter captain Van Gerpen said: ‘This morning around 2 o’clock firefighters were sent to a traffic accident.
‘They found that we had a very wounded incident with a series of victims at the scene. Our firefighters quickly realized that we had many patients, so we called for additional resources.
‘Apparently he loses consciousness to the vehicle and entering a Taco car and ultimately encounters a large number of people except a club in Eastern Hollywood.
“ We currently have about 31 patients in total. All of these patients are in the process of being treated, moving and evaluating. ‘
‘One of the patients reports that there is a fiery weapon wound. There was a patient in the vehicle and they were able to release that patient. ‘
Lafd also said in a statement: ‘The first reports of an unknown vehicle to the crowd, more than 20 patients.
‘At least in critical state, estimated 4-5, in serious case 8-10, 10-15 in the fair situation. Lafd is currently coordinating the patient triag and transport. ‘
Vermont Night Club was hosting an event with DJ FLXN since 22:00.
