Nervous but Excited Too – Sai Pallavi on Her Hindi Debut

Talking about her Hindi debut film Ek Din, which also starred Junaid Khan, Sai Pallavi said, “What I have done has brought me here and I am so grateful for the entire journey.”
The Southern player admitted that he was both nervous and excited at the same time, adding: “I have difficulty with the language. But other than that, everything is as fluid as possible.”
Looking back on his cinematic journey in Tamil and Telugu, he said: “I don’t know what I am doing but I am happy that jo bhi mene kiya has introduced me to such talented people and in the end I am very humbled.”
An emotional Aamir Khan, who earlier co-produced Ek Din, had described Sai Pallavi as the best contemporary Indian actress.
Responding, the actress said, “I am thankful to Aamir sir for putting me in such a place, choosing me to be a part of this film where I can enjoy it, feel so much love.” She added, “Aamir sir is crazy to be this emotional in public… Sometimes I wish the lights were dimmed so I could be more emotional.”
Sai said that he fell in love with Ek Din’s script from the very beginning. “I could see her emotions, I could see the visuals in front of me. It was absolutely beautiful.”
And he also received praise for his male lead role. “Junaid was an absolutely beautiful co-star. He was actually an obedient boy. He was a very nice guy. I had a great time.”
