Meeting reviews drinking water availability in Villupuram

Villupuram district administration has emphasized on daily metering of drinking water supply by local authorities to regulate and ensure availability during summer months.

District Collector Sheikh Abdul Rahman, who chaired a meeting to review drinking water availability at the Collectorate on Wednesday, directed officials to submit daily report on water received from the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board reservoirs and overhead tanks in Town Panchayats and panchayat unions.
