Reform’s Richard Tice lashes out at ‘unhinged’ protester: ‘Totally abhorrent!’ | Politics | News

As Mr Tice described the deeply troubling problem of antisemitism in the UK and how it should be tackled, the demonstrator held up a banner that read: “Voting Reform? They think you’re stupid.” He then turned the banner to reveal another slogan: “You need the NHS, Reform will sell it.” But the demonstration immediately backfired, with angry viewers taking to social media to criticize the protester’s poor timing.
One person wrote on social media site
“I’m sure he could have heard what was being discussed and still chose to do it. Disgusting.”
Mr. Tice responded to the post, saying the “vile man” was “out of his mind.”
He added: “Totally disgusting. I gave him a bit of my opinion after the interview.”
Police wrestled a suspected terror attacker to the ground in Golders Green after two Jews were stabbed on Wednesday.
The suspect, who reportedly has a history of “serious violence”, is said to have pounced on an elderly man and attacked “everyone around him”, including police officers.
The latest atrocity sparked a fresh wave of anger over the “epidemic of violence against Jewish people”, with ministers warned it was a “national emergency”.
Mr Tice said in the GB News interview: “This is another appalling attack on the Jewish community and clearly antisemitism is at the heart of it.
“When will this end? The irony of these victims being treated by Hatzola, whose ambulances were firebombed just a few weeks ago.”
