Question Time laughs at Reform pothole success claim | News

Reform’s Zia Yusuf argued with Fiona Bruce after she failed to answer a question about potholes five times during Thursday’s (April 30) episode.

BBC Question Time According to a statement published on North Warwickshire and Bedworth MP Rachel Taylor’s website, the landlord pressed Mr Yusuf on whether pothole spending had fallen by nearly 50 per cent in parts of Warwickshire under the Reform.

Pothole repairs in Warwickshire have increased by almost 50 per cent under the Reform, according to George Finch, leader of Warwickshire County Council.

Asked last time whether pothole spending in North Warwickshire had fallen by more than half during the Reformation period, Mr Yusuf said: “I don’t have such precise detail… Let me tell you: no party that controls councils in this country has been as successful at fixing potholes as Reformation.”
