‘Sleeping Prince’ from Saudi Arabia dies after 20 years in coma following London car crash

A Saudi prince, who had been in a coma for more than twenty years after a car accident in London, died at the age of 36.
Prince Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al-Saud suffered severe brain injuries and internal bleeding in a terrible accident in 2005 when he was only 15 years old.
He was called ‘sleeping prince’ and was held in a ventilator in the hospital, but he never gained full consciousness.
Prince Al-Waleed was the eldest son of Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, who explained his death in a heartbreaking mission in X today.
He said: ‘O spirit of assurance, return to your Lord, satisfied and pleasant [to Him]And enter [righteous] Services and enter my paradise.
‘We are mourning our beloved son with the hearts that believe in Allah and the decree and deep sorrow and sorrow: Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Allah may have mercy on him today.’
When Prince Al-Waleed was involved in a destructive car accident, he was studying at a military college in London.
After the accident, he was hospitalized in King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and stayed in a coma here.
