Man chained, abused; two arrested in Vijayapura district

A man was illegally detained and chained to a iron pole because he did not come to work in the Vijayapura area, and the police arrested two people after the incident appeared on social media.
Vijayapura Laxman Nimbargi Police Inspector gave the names of those who were arrested as a gambling name from Chadachan Arjun Siddo and Srishail Giriyappa Peergond of Umrani in Vijayapura Region.
The incident occurred in the village of Hatalli, where 38 -year -old Bashasab Allauddin Mulla was chained to a pole by the defendant on 18 July.
According to the police, Bashasab reportedly bought 20,000 as an advance to serve as a driver, but he did not come to work immediately. As it was reported to delay the return of the money, Mr. Kumar and Mr. Srishail forcibly brought him to his motorcycles.
Later, he was chained to the pole in front of a shop from morning to evening, and also abused by the duo because the amount did not return.
