Three people dead and one in custody in Sydney

A third victim has also died and a man remains in police custody following the incident at a home in Sydney’s south-west. AAP reports.

NSW police attended the Rosemeadow home at 1.30am on Sunday following reports of disturbances.

Officers found the bodies of a 64-year-old man with serious head injuries, as well as a woman in her 60s and a man in his 20s.

The injured man received medical treatment from NSW ambulance paramedics and Liverpool hospital but later died.

The bodies have not yet been officially identified.

Police said the victims were “attacked by a man they knew.”

Police arrested a 32-year-old man who was taken to Campbelltown police station for questioning.

Officers have established the crime scene and are preparing a report for the coroner.
