Police officers from the Cartier-Champlain highway station of the Sûreté du Québec have handed over three tickets to the young offender, announced the SQ in a press release released on Sunday.
In short, she is blamed for having driven above the permitted limit, for having driven a vehicle after consuming alcohol and for having driven in a prohibited place.
She got away with more than $2,700 in fines and 28 demerit points. Thus, his driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days and his vehicle was immediately stored.
“If you hold a learner’s permit, a probationary license or a driving license and are under the age of 22, you cannot drive after consuming alcohol, because you are subject to the zero blood alcohol test,” reminds the SQ.
Speed is “one of the leading causes of fatal collisions to occur on Quebec roads,” adds the police force.
