Kerala Assembly results 2026: UDF all set to clean sweep in Ernakulam

United Democratic Front (UDF) While its candidates are leading in all 14 constituencies in the district so far, they are all set to make a clean sweep in Ernakulam.

The Left Democratic Front, which won five seats in the 2021 elections, could not make a sound this time. The left front government’s Industries Minister P. Rajeeve is trailing his UDF rival V. E Abdul Gafoor by 7,355 votes. Besides Kalamassery, LDF also won Kochi, Vypin, Kunnathunad and Kothamangalam segments in 2021. Kerala’s Leader of Opposition V. D Satheesan, eyeing his sixth consecutive win, is leading by 6,085 votes in Paravur constituency.
