Donald Trump threatens to ‘blow Iran off the face of the Earth’ in horror WW3 threat | World | News

US President Donald Trump said, “I will wipe Iran off the face of the earth” if they attack US ships in the Middle East. This stern warning came at a time when tensions were escalating in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical oil shipping routes, as the United States launched a major military operation known as “Project Freedom.”

Speaking to a Fox News reporter, Trump made clear that if Iran targets the ships involved in the mission, the United States will respond with overwhelming force. The operation aims to divert and protect commercial ships in the volatile waterway after weeks of attacks and disruptions blamed on Tehran. Speaking on Monday, Trump said: “We have more weapons and ammunition than we’ve ever had before. We have the best equipment. We have supplies all over the world. We have these bases all over the world. They’re all full of equipment. We can use all of it, and we will if we need it.” But he said Iran had shown flexibility in negotiations and was “much more flexible” under pressure from the US blockade of its ports.

Admiral Brad Cooper, head of US Central Command, said American forces also destroyed several Iranian “fast boats” operating in the region.

Washington also warned Tehran to stay away from US military assets while it continues its operation to secure the Strait of Hormuz.

The US embargo on Iran – aimed at restricting maritime traffic to and from the country – also remains in place, with officials claiming it has “exceeded expectations”.

The developments come as fears grow about the safety of commercial shipping in the region. A South Korean-flagged ship was reportedly attacked near the strait, and authorities in Seoul are currently trying to verify the claims, Chosun Daily reported.

In a post on Truth Social, POTUS addressed the incident directly, writing: “Iran has made some attacks on unrelated Nations regarding Ship Movement and PROJECT FREEDOM, including a South Korean Cargo Ship.”

He added: “Maybe it’s time for South Korea to come in and join the mission!”

Trump also stated that US forces had already attacked Iranian ships and said, “We shot down seven small boats, or as they call them, ‘fast’ boats. That’s all that’s left.”

He continued: “Except for the South Korean Ship passing through the Bosphorus, there is no damage at the moment.”

However, Iran has strongly denied that any ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz in recent hours.

A spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said: “The allegations by American officials are baseless and completely false, and any further maritime activities that contravene the IRGC Navy’s declared principles will face serious risks and violating ships will be forcefully intercepted.”

Trump said more details were expected tomorrow, when senior U.S. officials are preparing to hold a news conference on the escalating crisis.
