President of the Australian Medical Association WA, the state’s peak medical body, Dr. Kyle Hoath has called on the Cook government to invest in people as well as infrastructure.
Labor recently announced it would spend $1.5 billion on health infrastructure as part of its 2026-2027 budget, bringing the state’s total investment to $5.5 billion, above forecasts going forward.
