Government to be gifted prime Fremantle land as idle trust wound up

A plea from one of our state’s top doctors is making headlines today, ahead of the Western Australian budget being handed out tomorrow.

President of the Australian Medical Association WA, the state’s peak medical body, Dr. Kyle Hoath has called on the Cook government to invest in people as well as infrastructure.

Labor recently announced it would spend $1.5 billion on health infrastructure as part of its 2026-2027 budget, bringing the state’s total investment to $5.5 billion, above forecasts going forward.
