Homicide detectives called in after body found in parked car in Noble Park, in Melbourne’s southeast

A murder investigation has been launched after police found a man’s body in a parked car in Melbourne’s south-east.
Emergency services first responded to reports that the man was found dead in the car parked on Walter St in Noble Park shortly before 3pm on Wednesday.
The man has not yet been officially identified.
Footage taken by 9News shows emergency teams, including SES teams, rushing into the neighborhood after the discovery.


Victoria Police said in a statement that an autopsy will be performed to determine the man’s cause of death.
“He is being treated as suspicious at this early stage,” police said in a statement.
The crime scene has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
