Blake Lively is truly the worst of the worst in Hollywood. Entitled, delusional, utterly loathsome… and here’s proof: MAUREEN CALLAHAN

This could be the Pyrrhic victory of our young century.
The fact that Blake Lively showed off her male minions again on the Met Gala steps just hours after the conclusion of her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni confirms just how delusional, entitled and out of touch she is.
Anna Wintour allowing Lively to attend — significantly, unlucky husband Ryan Reynolds says it all.
The Met Gala has been unmasked: It’s nothing more than the World’s Worst People convention that Jeff Bezos bought.
For reasons that remain unclear, he didn’t walk the red carpet with his boorish bride, Lauren Sanchez. Maybe because the phrase ‘let them eat cake’ doesn’t include that.
Despite reported pleas, Wintour was apparently unable to persuade her cinematic avatar, Meryl Streep, to attend.
He reportedly failed to convince Catherine, Princess of Wales, either.
Instead, we proletarians were treated to: Katy Perry, who has now been accused of sexual assault by actress Ruby Rose (which she denies); Ryan Murphy thinks of multimillionaire Sarah Paulson, who wears a dollar mask over her eyes as a sort of apparent protest; morbidly obese, false rape accuser Lena Dunham; Amy Griffin is currently being sued by a former classmate who claims Griffin plagiarized the story of her childhood rape for her own memoir, The Tell; 14-year-old Blue Ivy Carter, who ignores dad Jay-Z’s insistent requests to take off her sunglasses; Jay-Z himself, who is a long-time friend of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and has never said anything against him; and the Kardashians, who often represent the worst of pop culture.
The fact that Blake Lively showed off her male minions again on the Met Gala steps just hours after the conclusion of her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni confirms just how delusional, entitled, and out of touch she is.
For Blake Lively to outshine all these terrible people worst of the worst It is truly a success.
Congratulations Blake!
As the Daily Mail exclusively reported, even her husband had long ago grown tired of Blake’s insistence on rejecting the settlement — despite the federal judge in the case urging him to do so multiple times.
Sexual harassment allegations against Baldoni emerged in April, even though the judge, who is the brother of Hollywood director Doug Liman, recently threw out most of Lively’s case.
And as the Daily Mail exclusively reported, Reynolds ‘always had it in mind that he needed to settle down and move on.’ This was bad for him [and] bad for their careers… He pretty much threw his hands up and pulled his hands away.’
It’s a fitting narrative, given that Reynolds was heavily involved in his obnoxious wife’s fight with Baldoni, accused of bullying her and badmouthing other A-list stars, Hollywood executives, and It Ends with Us writer Colleen Hoover in emails and texts.
According to court records, Reynolds wrote in a text message to Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana:'[Justin is] a malignant vein [sic]A sociopathic FAUXminist with almost no sense of boundaries or shame.’
There were also messages between Lively and then-BFF Taylor Swift on hand at a meeting between Lively, Reynolds and Baldoni at the couple’s $5.7 million Tribeca penthouse — which Baldoni claimed was intended to threaten her into complying with his wishes.
In a message to Swift before this meeting, Lively asked her to say that she was ‘horrified’ by the script rewrite Lively had made.
“Having the greatest living storyteller unconsciously reflect on how much you love what we do (crediting him as if he co-wrote it with me) would go a long way,” Lively wrote.
Swift: ‘I’d do anything for you!’
After the meeting, Lively texted Swift: ‘You acted so heroically today… This clown fell for all this. But he also resists. You are the best friend ever. ‘I won the lottery.’
Swift: ‘I WON THE LOTTERY. You’re the coolest person in the world and you like me!!’
I repeat: These people suck.
After these messages became public, Swift announced that she would stay away from Lively now and possibly forever.
There are reports that Lively, who is Swift’s godmother to three of her four children with Reynolds, was not on the guest list for Swift’s summer wedding in New York City.
Wild.
As for the idea that Lively could somehow snap out of this and that her appearance at the Met Gala was like a rebirth; it’s just the opposite.
We do not see a ‘strong woman’ who refuses to be intimidated by the patriarchy, as some dubious social media accounts claim.
We all know what we saw: a ruthless celebrity, whose talent is inversely proportional to his ego, so desperate to remain not only relevant but loved that he showed his face just hours after the deal was announced.
Even her husband Ryan Reynolds reportedly grew tired of Blake’s insistence on rejecting the deal long ago.
The public knows all too well that dressing for the Met Gala takes months of planning: meeting top design houses (Lively wore a candy-colored Atelier Versace princess dress, how subtle); finding the best hair and makeup artists; We are preparing for questions from the press.
Reynolds had the good sense to stay home. But he is also experiencing a career crisis. During this lawsuit, Paramount reportedly abandoned many of its projects.
And on my podcast, The Nerve, we resurrected a story she thought she had long forgotten: As a teenager, Reynolds set fire to her elementary school, and it burned down, too.
He later told a reporter he hoped some ‘poor idiot’ wasn’t in jail for his prank.
So shout out to Blake and Ryan. Blake, in particular, will probably never get a good job again: What director could or would trust him?
