Secret Pentagon UFO briefing TODAY as Washington insider warns full truth will still be hidden

Representative Tim Burchett said he received a private UFO briefing from Pentagon officials during an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

‘Strangely, I got a call saying I would be informed by phone at 3pm tomorrow,’ said Burchett, adding that one of the War Secretary’s ‘best men’ would ‘review things’. The Daily Mail confirmed that the meeting took place on Thursday, as the Joe Rogan Experience podcast was taped on May 6.

Burchett’s comments come as expectations continue to build around President Donald Trump’s push to declassify federal UFO files and lawmakers’ growing demands for more transparency about alleged encounters with unexplained vehicles.

But the Tennessee congressman warned the audience not to expect full transparency, adding: ‘I don’t want everyone to get their hopes up. ‘I don’t have much confidence in our government.’

Burchett then directly pointed out what he described as a decades-long cover-up surrounding UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena.

“This thing has been hidden since at least 1947,” he told Rogan.

The Republican lawmaker also accused powerful figures inside the Pentagon of resisting disclosure efforts, saying: ‘The war pimps and everyone else in the Pentagon, they don’t give up that easily.’

During an interview on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Burchett described classified briefings, military witnesses, underwater UFO claims, and what he believes are ongoing attempts within the government to suppress information from the public.

Burchett said his fascination with UFOs began as a child growing up in Tennessee, where he spent hours at the local library reading books about unexplained phenomena.

But he claimed his views changed dramatically after he entered Congress and began asking questions about secret incidents involving military personnel.

“When I start asking questions…we start wandering around,” Rogan said when asked what first led him to suspect a cover-up.

According to Burchett, tipsters and authorities later approached him privately to show him the footage and discuss events involving mysterious ships that exhibited abilities far beyond known human technology.

The congressman described a meeting in which individuals allegedly connected a computer to his television and showed him objects maneuvering at impossible speeds.

“They were showing me things flying at speeds that nothing could compare to,” Burchett said. ‘And the angles they take are literally, I’ve said this before and it disgusts people but it turns you or me into a ketchup packet.’

Burchett also claimed that military pilots who report UFO encounters are often silenced or intimidated.

‘If you’re a pilot and you come back and say, ‘Hey, I saw this.’ “You immediately moved off the flight line,” he said.

Burchett said he spoke with someone at the War Department at 3 p.m. Thursday.

‘They can’t fly and they are given a psychological evaluation and given an eight-hour period, they call it debriefing. ‘Some of the officers involved told me that this was actually just an interrogation.’

The congresswoman revisited a previously reported trip with Reps. Anna Paulina Luna and Matt Gaetz to a military facility in Florida, where she said lawmakers were initially denied access to pilots who allegedly witnessed unexplained craft.

Burchett claimed Gaetz threatened to send a subpoena before authorities allowed the pilots to speak.

‘They explained some things and now it’s been reported. They were publicly imported, but they were these vehicles that could hover for long periods of time and fire directly at incredible speeds that we just don’t have the ability to do,” Burchett said.

One of the most surprising parts of the interview was Burchett’s claims about underwater UFO activity.

The congressman said he was briefed on massive submerged objects allegedly moving at impossible speeds under the ocean.

‘We’ve seen vehicles as big as football fields with a sonar pickup going at speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour underwater,’ he claimed.

Burchett argued that neither Russia nor China appeared capable of producing technology that matched the claimed performance of the vehicle described in the briefings.

Dismissing the possibility that foreign enemies were behind the events, he said, “If it were China, they would have us more than they have so far.”

The congressman also claimed that he personally urged Trump to continue pressing for a statement.

‘I talked to the President about this and I said, you know, Mr. President, it’s like the layers of an onion. “Just keep peeling,” Burchett said.

He suggested that Trump may be in a unique position to force information into public view.

“He might be the only one with enough courage,” Burchett said. ‘Just one because it’s not affiliated with the group.’

Despite his claims, Burchett has repeatedly acknowledged that he is skeptical that the government will fully open his files.

At one point, he compared past UFO revelations to heavily censored documents.

‘They will reveal something. It was like someone had shot him with a 12-gauge gumball. It will just have holes in it. “It’s all been fixed,” he said.

Still, Burchett insisted that Americans deserve to know what authorities have learned.

“The government has no right to decide what I can and cannot understand, what I cannot handle or see,” he told Rogan.
