Ally Cong. seeks ‘better coordination over crucial public issues’ with ruling NC

The Congress, which is fighting the 2024 Assembly elections in alliance with the National Conference (NC) in J&K, asserted the need for “better coordination on important public issues” in the Union Territory (UT) on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

“Mutual understanding and cooperation between coalition partners are non-negotiable for proper governance and effective public welfare. NC cannot afford to ignore the voice of its alliance partner,” senior Congress leader and legislator Ghulam Ahmad Mir said.
