Reform’s Zahawi clashes with Labour’s Hazarika live on Sky | UK | News

Reform spokesman Nadhim Zahawi clashed dramatically with Labour’s Baroness Ayesha Hazarika live on Sky News in the early hours, painting a bleak picture of Sir Keir’s chances of surviving until dawn.
“There will be complete chaos in Downing Street tomorrow,” Zahawi said. “The U-turns didn’t work. It caused MPs to distrust his decisions. So the Mandelson Affair is the gift that keeps on giving. It will take weeks like this. A hundred thousand documents will be released.
“The court case, the investigation, will continue to haunt him, so I think you’ll have to let him go.”
Hazarika sternly interjected, telling Zahawi: “You can’t say ‘it’s a gift’ because it’s such a terrible thing that involves grooming.” She then tried to direct the discussion towards how Sir Keir must “own” her in order for the party to move left and secure votes that might otherwise fall to the Greens.
How has Reform UK performed in local elections so far?
Reform UK breaks down Labour’s Red Wall in the early hours of Friday’s local election count; The party has already captured 15 council seats in Halton, Cheshire, from Sir Keir Starmer – as intense speculation mounts over the Prime Minister’s future.
Richard Tice has declared that the Red Wall has been “repainted” as Reformation sweeps through traditional Labour’s heartlands. He told Sky News: “What we are witnessing is the Red Wall in the Midlands and the North being repainted with a much brighter, more optimistic turquoise wall. “This will be the big news of the next 18 to 24 hours.
“You were just talking about the incredible results, 16 out of 19 went to Reform in Halton. The collapse in Labor votes is absolutely staggering.”
Reform MP Lee Anderson predicted the party would gain at least 1,500 seats nationally, saying on social media: “My guess is about 1,500 seats, maybe more than that, but that’s my conservative guess.”
A Reform source said: “We are seeing a direct shift from Labor to Reform. The Red Wall is coming down one by one. This could be a devastating night for Starmer.”
